challenge
How can we create a digital space for a community often overlooked by the healthcare system—young adults with cancer—without resorting to sad, medical, or infantilizing clichés?
The Sick Club sought to build a simple yet vibrant website that would reflect its unique tone: funny, transgressive, inclusive, and resolutely human. The challenge: to design an experience that was accessible, functional, and aligned with their social mission, while integrating tools for data collection.
solution
We developed a colorful, lively, and easy-to-navigate landing page, punctuated with playful illustrations and small animated elements to reflect the Sick Club's personality. The site includes an inclusive and intelligent registration form, allowing us to collect key member information (location, preferences, pronouns, etc.) in order to optimize future events. The entire project was designed pro bono by our team, in close collaboration with the founder, to support a cause that deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
